Part of Staff picks

From the producer

Aged for 8 years and finished in maple syrup casks, this Sour Mash Bourbon from Old Louisville marries traditional dark, oaky bourbon with a graceful touch of maple sweetness.

Distilled in 2015, aged 8 years in used bourbon barrels, then finished in maple casks for 9 months

Proof: 102 (51% ABV)

Mash Bill: Classic sour mash process (while mash specifics are proprietary, the traditional method ensures a balanced acidity and nuanced flavor)

Tasting Notes:

Aromas of caramelized maple, toasted oak, and vanilla, with a subtle swirl of dried fruit and soft spice

On the palate, rich flavors of maple syrup, toffee, roasted nuts, and nuanced dark chocolate emerge, supported by warming spice notes like cinnamon and gentle oak

The finish is smooth and lingering, echoing sweet maple and refined oak spice

Perfect for sipping neat, adding depth to a whiskey-forward cocktail, or savoring alongside rich desserts.
