About this bottle

Buzzard’s Roost Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon is a whiskey from Buzzard’s Roost. Bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).

From the producer

Aged in distinctive Char #1 barrels within a bonded warehouse, this 100-proof bourbon offers a refined, silky mouthfeel with a touch of subtle sweetness that sets it apart. Even before its national debut, it earned two impressive scores—an early testament to its exceptional quality. In the glass, it presents a bright golden hue with copper highlights that catch the eye. On the nose, inviting aromas of vanilla wafers dusted with light brown sugar lead the way, followed by hints of honey, butterscotch, a mist of orange, and a gentle touch of baking spice. The palate is rich and comforting, delivering flavors of vanilla custard accented by bits of caramel candy and a delicate orange glaze. Midway through the sip, warm notes of cinnamon and nutmeg emerge, creating a smooth and blossoming heat. The finish is a graceful blend of fruit and spice that lingers softly, tapering off into light oak and a trace of vanilla caramel—leaving a warm and satisfying impression.
